General Hobby – Love Demos Laser Cut terrain!

I’ve finished painting my four buildings for modern, future and Zombie gaming.

I hadn’t done a lot of work with MDF in the past, but I ordered some of Demo’s Laser Cut terrain on a whim as I was looking for nice simple modular scenery for my modern and Zombie gaming. I bought a three story building (already painted) and a four-pack of one story ‘convenience store’ style buildings. All have removable roofs and open/closing doors. They are easy to build and took spray paint and dry brushing nicely! As they are thin-ish MDF I would not be overly rough with them, but they are sturdy enough that I’m happily putting them in a box for transportation.

Here are some individual shots…

Here are some shots of the two restaurants.

Drug Store

My little prescription drug store.

Bicycle Shop

And finally, a bicycle shop!

The doors are finished as well (not pictured) and I added some signage from model railroad printed kits as well as hand painted graffiti and some of my printed Quarantine and Evacuation posters (see older posts).

I’ve got some of the laser cut interior pieces as well as some armourcast bits and bobs to finish sprucing these up… but overall I’m super happy with the results!
