Games I Like – Zombies – Day 2: Painted the Dog and The Kid

So today’s rewards to my painting come in two parts, a Great Dane miniature as well as a young man with a familiar looking crowbar.

After spending a bit looking at pictures of Danes online, I realized they are about as varied as a dog can be with colouration and markings. So I went with a classic light fur and ark muzzle. The blue collar is of course, a tribute to everyones favorite mystery solving great Dane. I’m happy with the subtle transitions on the fur and the whole model took only five colours (not including the base) to complete!

The Kid is dressed in his Sunday best, white collared shirt and green tweed short pants. Of course, he’s also go a pair of Chuck Taylors on is swinging Gordon Freeman’s crowbar.

Both these figures will represent Henchmen (not part of a group, but rather guys you find along the way) in my Zombie campaign.

More as it gets done!
