Games I Like – Anima Tactics – We don’t need another Hiiiiiro!

So I caught the Painting bug last night after completing my lightbox and put a paintbrush to one of my final three unfinished Wissenshaft team-mates.

Hiro is modeled after the old Power Ranger style Kaiju heroes of Japanese TV… But I wasn’t really interested in doing that. Giving him another flashy paint job as it didn’t fit with the scheme of then rest of my team. Instead I went for a darker more ‘Metal Gear’ Cyborg Ninja look.

The model was base coated Vallejo German Fieldgrey with the armor plates done in Blue Grey and metals in Oily Steel. The whole figure was washed in a thin glaze of 50/50 Citadel Leviathan Purple and Thraka Green.

I used Orange as a detail colour just to give the model something that pops. A few highlights and details and I was done.
