General Hobby – Infinity Gaming Table Modular Walls

Well more today from my beloved Foamed PVC Workbench. Having completed the table surface for my modern/Infinity board this week I wanted to start making some practical scenery to go along with what I’ve already got. In that vein, I tried my hand at some simple walls.

Used for this were…

-A Drafting pencil
-Drafting Triangle
-18″ Steel Ruler
-Cutting mat
-Super Glue
-2mm Foamed PVC

The bottoms are 2cm x 6″ (yes I mix measurements) so they will all line up, while the tops are 2cm x 6″ to give less ‘depth’ to the wall. Interior is cut to fit with both end bits flush so they line up.

Corner pieces are cut to 3″ so that when added to both sides i get a full foot of length.

I also made one corner an open ‘door’ to keep things interesting.

You can see here the whole set I made. It took about an hour and a half of measuring, cutting, glueing and sanding.

And here’s an example of it set up. You can see I’ve roughed the edges a bit to make it look like concrete that’s seen a bit of damage.

I plan to decorate it with some modern looking posters after its been airbrushed. More pics when its done! Once again, I can’t say enough good things about this building material.

More later!
