TGN Battle Challenge #1 – Infinity Scenery

I got my terrain from JR Miniatures today, and wasted no time in getting it put together.

Early last week I got the accessories I ordered from Armorcast and these were used to spice up the terrain and make it a little bit more ‘Tech’.

I wanted some stuff more fitting to my Desert Gaming Mat to play Infinity on. I like the scenery I have and it’s a ton of fun; but really the buildings are more appropriate for an Urban setting.

The JR Miniatures stuff totally fits what I want to do. I also ordered the 4×4′ gaming mat to use all my Urban stuff on; so I should have enough scenery now to play two games of Infinity at once!

So I got the chance to paint a bunch of scenery today. Check it out!

Here are the buildings with the toppers painted and attached with Gorilla Glue (this stuff is awesome!) I’m excited about the fact that the roofs are removable so I can place models inside!

Here are a bunch of Accessories I’ve added to my collection. The trashbins and bags are from Armorcast and the crates I found in a bargain bin for ten bucks! They’re actually resin VOID battlefield accessories and for four large pieces I really couldn’t say no.

Left to paint are my two broken down pickups and a variety of snack and pop machines (also from Armorcast). These are the kinds of little details that I find really makes a tabletop immersive to me.

Best of all, the whole thing fits into this little snap-lid container I bought for easy transport, with room to spare! I picked up one of the Platformer kits that I’m still figuring out what I’m going to do with.

All in all, a good day of scenery painting!
